Grachev's In (Updated)

Updated 11:07 a.m.:
Jesse Spector tweets that Derek Boogaard stayed after optional practice to work on deflections.

...not sure what that means for his availability tonight. Final spot should come down to him and EC.

...love that the kid is getting a chance tonight. Now the question is who is he going to play with?

You may know but Ive lost all confidence in Grachev. He always dissapoints and tonight probably wont be different. He is trade bait to me. We need players to play now not in 5 years. Too many vets are hurt or playing like Frolov. Get Grachev out and maybe gilroy and get us a scorer.

Lets hope its EC. Booguard and his 4 shifts a game are a waste. i dont think the Canes have a policeman, so its pointless.

Boogard a waste? R U kidding? He stayed after practice and worked on his deflections! See the dedication? Our goalie got run over the other night while he was on the ice and this bafoon is working on his deflections?

Worst enforcer. I'm not sure if Carolina has any "enforcers" but if they don't Booger shouldn't play.

I don't get it... What has boogaard done that has upset all of you... he has an assist... he hasn't done anything that has negatively effected the team...Goes out and hits people for the 4 min he is on the ice.. give the guy a break...

I alway thought putting Boogaard in front of the net would be a good idea. Who could move him?

i think boogaard normally plays only about 50 games a yr. so absolutely no reason to play him tonight especially with the injury which would make him less likely to fight anyway.

much rather see ec in tonights lineup - i really don't get the hate on the guy. is he great no but other than gabby we're missing that in forwards, is he consistent no but how many callys do we have. and he does have some good outings maybe tonight will be 1 of them

he's not the solution but not the problem either
