Andrew Gross at Ranger Rants reports on the difference in opinion from John Tortorella and Erik Christensen on the center's injury...
Christensen said he’s concerned with pushing the groin through a fast-paced game.
“I was sitting in the dressing room watching the game (Friday night) and I’m thinking I’ve got to hurry up and get better because we’re losing guys like crazy,” Christensen said. “But I’m not going to go jeopardize my health thinking, ‘Let’s go Monday,’ and if something happens, it might hurt it again.”
But Tortorella, having watched Christensen make it through today’s practice, is counting him among the available players.
“Unless somebody tells me something else in the next hour or so, he’s healthy,” Tortorella said.
Gross says the Rangers have no plans to bring anyone up from Hartford.
...these two better get on the same page or there might be a problem Monday night.
...i guess if Christensen is a last minute scratch Gilroy can go to wing and Sauer can be re-inserted into the lineup.

I think it would be great to see what Gilroy can do on the wing. He's obviously no Bobby Orr, but he did have some great offensive capabilities in his past. Sure they weren't at the NHL level, but what could it hurt to try?
