MZA Scores Game Winner

Hartfordwolfpack.com reports that Mats Zuccarello scored the game winner (second straight game with a goal) as the Hartford Wolf Pack defeated the Bridgeport Sound Tigers 2-1.

Wade Redden added an assist for his fifth point (1g, 4a) in four games.

...i know the Rangers have decided not to bring anyone up for tomorrow's game, but if MZA keeps this going the Rangers will have no choice but to recall him from Hartford very soon.

No need to rush. This team will still be hurting two weeks from now.

I was at that Hartford game. Nobody on the team really stood out offensively for the majority of the game and I'm well aware of the prospects that were playing. The only thing was that MZA turned it on in the 3rd period throwing his small frame around and chipped one in The kid is not afraid to back down. I thought he was actually going to fight a Sound Tiger at one point. Johnson was in my opinion the best player of the night. He was solid in net coming up big a few times. Redden seemed to be the go to guy in important situations. I sat right behind the Hartford bench and the players really look up to him. Tomas Kundratek showed some flashes of skill too.
