Looks good I like the ice it's a nice touch
This is my personal favorite, I think it goes the best with the blog!
Lock it down.
this banner is by far the best
If he's a grammar Nazi, half of those words in the subtitle shouldn't be capitalized.
Nice:), previous one looked like crap so:)
o crap, I really wanted yesterdays to win....
this ones great and it fits the blog perfectly
I agree, this is the best banner for the blog so far.
Best one so far.
AGreed. my favorite
however, touche.. all those prepositions and articles shouldn't be capitalized...Elementary grammar. Needs to be edited, then i'd say its a keeper
Winner.
I Like it, I like it alot
Looks great.
Where can we see all the entries in one place?
Third time's a charm: Take the capitals off the prepositions.
And it might look stronger if the subtitle line was the same width as the title line. It would be a good solid block of text.
Nice work.
i agree with DT about the capitalization issues. but that's a minor thing - like the rangers lack of a true #1 center.
i like this one. looks a bit more professional than mister messier.
Winner.
best thus far, but painfully generic. it looks professional, like a business card should look professional. all i'm saying is have some fun with it, make it exciting. it's a hockey blog, not an investment firm
Savard = TRUE #1 center. I understand the arguments against: fragile, old, don't want to sacrifice youth, take on an expensive, long term contract. But the argument for him, if Sather could make it happen, by moving Gilroy and ~$2M of salary elsewhere, is pretty compelling. Remember, Hank and Gaborik are over 30, i.e. they can't wait forever for prospects to become legit NHLers. Any good team has a combination of both. (not to beat a dead horse, but unfortunately Drury and Rozi make this dynamic difficult, as they are two average veterans earning top tier money; Assuming Redden is waived by end Oct.)
William,
Hank and Gaborik are both 28. Besides if Savard comes here it would go against everything sather said (which actually wouldn't be surprising) and we'll flush out some youth, which would be incredibly stupid. We need to just stay with what we got and hope it works out
I really like this one a lot. The crowd salute after a win has been a signature of the team since the lockout and is a class move that I love.
Winner, winner, chicken dinner!
Best one so far IMO out of the ones that I have seen
nicest one yet by FAR
hell no on savard. that would be beyond ridiculous with that cap hit for 6 or 7 more yrs. and to plan on a buyout of savard in 3-4 yrs is just dumb
I'm impressed. Top 3, for sure.
This one is nice...Classy, with grit...This is the best.
