Rangers 7, Stars 2 (Traverse City Game 4)

The New York Rangers prospects (2-2) defeated the Dallas Stars prospects (1-3) by the score of 7-2 in the fifth place game of the Traverse City Prospects Tournament. For in-game coverage click here and for box score here.

Similar to the first game, the Grachev-Stepan-Bourque line was outstanding combining for 3g, 5a and a +6.

...Stepan said he didn't want to end the tourney with a losing record and he held up his end of the bargain. This kid is a winner needs to make the team out of training camp.

Agree: I liked that attitude in Stepan. There is nothing like a leader who goes out on the limb and then produces in the game to back up his statement. Thats the type of character that has been missing in previous draft picks from the 90's and early 00's. Character.
