The fourth entry in the banner contest comes from Jeff. He actually sent this to me before I even announced the contest because he thought the generic banner I had up was so embarrassing. Sorry the resolution is a little off as I had to resize the banner to fit but if this wins I will have Jeff change the pixels.

The contests have been an awesome post-season distraction, but will they continue during the season also?
Im not diggin the text or logo used here. Doesnt fit the blognas well as the last one, but a nice banner still.

I like this one the best so far...Clean and crisp...catches your eye...and very professional looking.
Since you are revamping the site, maybe you could have another contest to come up with a new tag line too? It might be fun to see what people come up with....
I have another contest that will be coming up during the season. But not too soon as I will be way to distracted with actual hockey.

All the banners have been great.
This one looks good too, but the player that is embedded behind the blue on the left side looks like he has a Florida Panthers jersey.
..unless he is tussling with a Rangers player next to him - in which case, I stand corrected :)
Hmm...I'm not sure I understand what that Christmas_tree_ornament bulb thing is all about. Is it a puck? If so why is it twinkling and why is the Rangers shield bulging? I guess because it's a contest and we're allowed to comment on it I'm nitpicking, but that's what it's about.
The Panthers player is definitely obvious...but incorporating some action is a nice idea.

This definitely has potential. The Rangers logo looks a little pregnant, however. With some minor adjustments this would look sharp. Kudos for getting the ball rollin' on this contest though
