Frolov Talks Why He Chose Rangers Over KHL

Laurie Carr at Beyond the Blueshirts translates a recent interview Alexander Frolov did with Sportbox.ru in which the newest Ranger says this about why he chose the Blueshirts over the KHL...

"The Rangers made a good offer, which interested me. It’s a well-known club with a rich history and, from a professional point of view, I decided that it was the best option for the continuation of my career. Regardless of how the KHL has developed, the strongest league in the world is still overseas."

...i also think Frolov has some unfinished business in the NHL. He wants to prove that last year was a fluke and he can still be a top player in the league.

No doubt that a player views the NHL as the top league in the world and to still have an opportunity to compete in this league is sometimes worth more than the attraction elsewhere. Here is hoping that Frolov can regain his form and sign a three next year.
