White's Versitility Could Land Him on Roster

Steve Zipay at Blue Notes says this about Todd White's chances of making the Rangers roster out of camp...

"Todd White has been pencilled (sp) into internet ghost rosters as a center anywhere from first line to fourth. He'll be in Hartford before the fourth line. $2.3 mil for so little ice time? White's also played left wing, though, and has been a pretty good PKer. If he's healthy, that versatility and savvy could land him a roster spot."

...i've said it from Day 1 of the trade, if White is healthy and has a strong camp he is on the team. I don't see how he's not.

Zipay also weighs in on the Mount Puckmore controversy.

The Rangers need to find some guys who can play on the PK this year. Part of the reason why Drury's and some extent Callahan's (at even strength) offensive production went down last year was because they were relied on some much to kill penalties. The lost Betts and Sjostrom was a big reason for their increase PK time.

Great point bpette. Do you know where I can find a Del Zotto t-shirt?
