Kreider, Bourque Star in Team USA Win

Newyorkrangers.com reports that Chris Kreider scored a goal and Ryan Bourque had an assist in Team USA's 8-3 against Finland during the final game of the USA National Junior Evaluation Camp in Lake Placid, NY.

Kreider ended the four game round robin with 2 goals, while Bourque ended with one assist.

...because both of them were on the gold medal winning team last year they are all but assured a spot this season.

I know it's easy to get excited about Rangers prospects showing up, but maybe we should be a little more even-keeled. Kreider and Bourque didn't star in the game. Kreider was credited with a goal on a shot he deflected and Bourque had just one assist. Several U.S. players had multiple goals or multiple points. Kreider and Bourque were just part of a dominant American effort.
