Good Idea, doesn't fit the blog though. something a little clearer.
I love the image (I hope to be able to tell my kids about seeing Avery do that to fatso live on TV. It was hilarious.) but the overall banner isnt very... Snooth? Looks kinda rough

The image of Avery totally fits the tagline (Doing the dirty work in front of the net...)
But the rest of it is grainy/sloppy.

A nice banner but I personally dont like it as much as yesterdays. I also don't think an immage of Avery and Fatty MCfattigans is the appropriate image.
Just need to change the font and it becomes the perfect banner for this blog
I liked the first, with the edits in the comments (white fadeout, clean up font a bit etc.)
Yesterday's was much better...made the blog look more up to date in design.
