Richards to Stars, Huet to Capitals

TSN reports...

...the Rangers are getting very lucky with all these big names (Forsberg, Campbell and Richards) going out West.

...with the Canadiens trading Huet, they are putting their season in the hands of 20-year-old Carey Price. I'm shocked by this, especially after the way we burned Price last week. This is great for the Rangers. Not sure what Montreal is thinking.

Huet might have been dealt as a precursor to the Marian Hossa to MTL deal, which is rumoured to include Johan Hedberg as well.

For Montreal's sake I hope so. I wouldn't be very confident going into the playoffs with a rookie goaltender. Although, I don't know how much more confident I'd be with Hedberg in there either.

Even though they got swept, Hedberg was pretty good in the playoffs last year versus the Rangers.

Hedberg did play well against the Rangers last year, and if I remember correctly played awesome in the 2000 playoffs for Pittsburgh, but if I'm a Montreal fan I'm not too confident with Hedberg in goal going into the playoffs.

Indeed, the move is puzzling, especially since they have a good chance to come out of the East.
