Jagr Has Principle Agreement to Return to Omsk

An article at sports.ru, a Russian website, reports that Jaromir Jagr has agreed in principle to return to the Russian Super League team Omsk...

"Vanguard" President Konstantin Potapov commented Yagra likelihood of a return to Omsk club, which served as Czech sezone-2004/05 during the lockout in the NHL.

We regularly discuss the theme returns in the Czech Omsk Yagra agent for Europe. Hockey player himself very still wants to play in Omsk. Overall, I would say this: from the Czech side has an agreement in principle to sign a contract with "Vanguard", but details of a possible agreement has yet to be discussed.

On the monetary side of the question, I was not prepared to say now - such details, we have not yet discussed. Especially not yet determined the exact figure is the upper ceiling.

Yagrom interested in other Russian clubs? "Vanguard" will fight for this player to the last. At the end of the season we lokautnogo along with Yagrom dined with the governor of Omsk region, Leonid Polezhaev. Then Czech governor promised that one day he must return to Omsk. These words Czecho we have not forgotten."

...found this on the New York Rangers message board. The translation is obviously a bit off, but you get the general idea.

...I guess if Jagr isn't resigned by the Rangers, he will most likely head back to the Czech Republic and play in the Russian Super League. He has said numerous times that the only NHL team he wants to play for is the Rangers. Jagr played with Omsk during the lockout in 2004/2005.
