Avery Down on His Play

Over at the New York Post, Larry Brooks describes how Sean Avery is not happy with how he is playing in his walk year...

"Something is going on with Avery, who has not spoken to the press since last Tuesday morning...Teammates have said that he's been uncharacteristically quiet.

And what's going on with Avery can likely be traced back to his impending free agency and the perception in his own mind that he's no longer a favorite son.

Let's make no mistake. Avery is not having the kind of walk season he envisioned. He's been on injured reserve three times. He's playing with a bad wrist that will require surgery over the summer. He's been largely subdued on the ice since called into Vice Principal Colin Campbell's office on Nov. 12...

...The idea is to build up Avery, not tear him down. The idea is to give Avery a reasonable sense of security. Sather never once tried to play tough with Lundqvist, not over the summer, not over the last month of negotiating. It would be counter-productive to do so with Avery..."

...my opinion is that Avery is just completely upset with the way the season is going for him and the team. He loves playing in New York and in front of Rangers fans and to have the season go the way it is, especially after all the success last year, its got to be killing him. Which is why we, as Ranger fans, love this guy. If Sather plays hardball and Avery signs somewhere else, I might have to cancel my season tickets.

If Sather blows this, my season tickets might be over as well.

New York Rangers are looking forward to return to glory of the Stanley cup finals. For this aim they’ve brought new players such as Chris Drury and Scott Gomez. In their early games of this season, the guys have proved that they have strength and ability to do well in this season. However, there's a long way still waiting for them to reach their goal. But day after day Rangers' fans are increasing due to the remarkable improvement in their results.
If you're one of those fans or you've just decided to be and you want their Tickets. There's an interesting website, which I use all the time, and really they have cheap tickets for Rangers' games and more. Here's the link:

Anyway, I wish the new comers will bring good luck to Rangers!!!
