Heritage Week Towel

TheNYRBlog reader Desmond sent me this pic of the towel the Rangers were handing out during the third jersey unveiling ceremony last night...

...another pretty awesome third jersey for the Rangers would have been if they used the Heritage Week logo from the towel as a crest on the chest instead of the "New York". Similar to the Wild's jersey, which personally I think are one of the best in the league.

eh... have to respectfully disagree. I think changing the rangers' jersey's to anything other than diagonally crossed writing is a mistake. Not a big fan of logos or emblems in the center of a jersey.

the logo idea might actually look better to an outsider, but the diagonal lettering is too iconic not to be part of a rangers "heritage" jersey

Yeah, I know it was a very bold idea. But hey a lot of fans liked the Liberty jerseys.

I really like the circle logo with the 1926 on the inside, are we calling it the Heritage Logo? It's a good name for it. It's too classy for them not to use it more. I'd like to see it on a pin or some clothing.
