In day three of newyorkrangers.com's '20 Prospects in 20 days', they take a look at Dane Byers...Gordie Clark, Rangers' Director, Player Personnel, says...
"He is captain material. That's the kind of player he is. ...He's a heart-and-soul guy. I think he's so close to playing (regularly in the NHL). He's done everything he can to do it, and I think he's close to playing."
...Byers is a guy I'm really rooting for to make the team next season. He brings a lot of leadership and toughness to the table. In the small sample we saw of him this season I was really impressed.
