Here's what I missed while duffing it around yesterday...
ESPN Insider takes a look at the Rangers off-season needs.
Spector at Fox Sports says Wade Redden and Michal Rozsival are potential buyout candidates.
...i respect Spector but he has to do more homework here. Redden would cost way too much money for the Rangers to buy out and could easily just demote him to Hartford to take his entire salary of the rolls.
...and Rozsival only has two years left and really turned it around at the end of the season. Plus he is coming off a very strong effort at the Worlds.
More mock drafts at NHL.com.
Day 12 of nyrangers.com's '20 Prospects in 20 Days' brings us Mikhail Pashnin.
...who?

Rosy gets a bad rap. He is overpaid, no doubt. But he can be very productive in the right situation (like the Worlds). He is a very good top 4 Dman, though not really a legit top 2.
Redden on the other hand...
It's definitely hard to turn around fan perception once they're sold you suck. But I have noticed a lot more support for Rozsival on message boards and blog recently.
