Werek, who is one of 24 forwards who will compete for 13 slots on the final roster, is coming off a 30-goal and 64-point season for the OHL's Kingston Frontenacs where he serves as the team's captain.
Last month Jess Rubenstein at The Prospect Park said Werek is the Rangers best prospect.
...i think I've had more prospect posts since the end of the season than the previous 2 years of this blog combined. Which is a great sign for the future of the Rangers franchise.
