Betts Watch

Blair Betts and the Philadelphia Flyers are one loss away from coming up short in their attempt to win the Stanly Cup as they were defeated by the Blackhawks last night 7-4 in Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Finals.

Betts had two blocked shots and was 8-f0r-12 on faceoffs. The Blackhawks scored two power play goals.

Last nigh he also had a few chances to bury it and he didn't. While a very good face off guy and defensive forward..he's just doesn't/can't/won't score goals.

His job isn't to score goals, while he did have 1 in Game 1, and 8 this season. He kills penalties like nobodys business and is a real bargain for his salary. He's like Drury (Clutch who?) except half as much, I miss him.
