John Kreiser at NHL.com reports that the Rangers lead the NHL in a number shootout categories.Kreiser advises us that newest Ranger Ales Kolalik is tied for the league lead with 11 game deciding shootout goals, while Henrik Lundqvist leads the league in shootout participation with 45 games and is only one shootout victory behind Martin Brodeur (28 victories) for the league lead.
The Rangers also lead the league in shootout participation with 58 games, which is seven more than the next team.
...if nothing else Kolalik should earn his money in the shootout.
