Down on the Farm

Slam! Sports gives a game recap of the Junior team Brampton Battalion which included a five point night for Ranger defensive prospect Bobby Sanguinetti...

"...Bolstered by defenceman Bobby Sanguinetti's five-point performance, the Brampton Battalion cruised to a 7-1 victory over the Mississauga St. Michael's Majors on Sunday afternoon.

Sanguinetti scored four goals and added an assist, with two of his tallies coming on the power play....

...Sanguinetti, a New York Rangers prospect acquired from the Owen Sound Attack in the off-season, has 15 goals and 19 assists, in 20 games...."

...15 goals and 19 assists in 20 games!!! Can we call this kid up right now.

...one position this team has covered is defense. With Rozsival, Tyutin, Girardi and Staal already with the big club, Pock, Baranka and Sauer with the Wolfpack and this kid in Juniors, the future of our defense looks amazing.
