...i don't want to get out of control, but the Rangers haven't seen a defenseman with Gilroy's offensive ability since Leetch.
...i love Avery, but his reputation, unfortunately, is going to hurt the Rangers at numerous points this season. As seen tonight on his goalie interference penalty, which was a weak call at best.
...0 for 6 on the power play. That's about right.
...four power play goals against in the first two games. Nice job not bringing Betts back Glen.
...i thought Kotalik was supposed to be a shootout specialist? That was an awful attempt.
...can someone please tell Voros to stop fighting. It's embarrassing.

johnson looked real good. People who should not be there = Voros and Rissmiller. Why are they there!?
Anyway, i'd like to start seeing some of the REAL team play together to see what we really have. The kids look good though, specially gilroy and grachev.
The knucklehead announcers just brushed off Avery's penalty like it was nothing. He got punched in the friggin head! Yeah he has a reputation, but if refs just called penalties on reputation than Brashear and guys like him wouldn't be allowed to play.
