The San Jose Sharks official website reports that former Ranger first round pick Manny Malhotra has been invited to training camp.Malhotra, who posted 11 goals and 24 assists with Columbus last season, will join another former Ranger Jed Ortmeyer in Sharks camp.
...Malhotra was never able to live up to the hype for the Rangers ala Brendl and Lundmark.

Even though Manny is not the player the Rangers hoped he would be, he's still a good third-fourth line player and a good character guy. Hope he sticks with the Sharks, they could use some character...
