Andrew Gross at Ranger Rants reports that the Rangers have re-assigned P.A. Parenteau to Hartford.
On the talk he had with Tortorella after he was re-assigned...
"He likes me, he likes the way I played," said Parenteau, playing on a one-way contract for just around the NHL minimum of $500,000. "Torts and Schoney (assistant GM/coach Jim Schoenfeld) and the guys really know me. They know what I can accomplish. I go down with my head up. I'll be back this year, that's how I'm feeling and I'll be ready when I get the call."
...unfortunately for Parenteau the top three lines are filled and he's not fit for the fourth line. I think this might be what happens to Grachev as well.
