Drury Uncomfortable with His Role?

In his Five for Friday feature at Blue Notes, Steve Zipay notes that something is up with Rangers captain Chris Drury...

"Realize that he said “Shut up and play” was the new mantra, but he’s scoreless in three games and some observers are starting to wonder if he’s letting the room develop or isn’t comfortable with his role on the team and the coach."

...Drury is a lead by example captain, which in the New York media market sometimes works against him.

...make no mistake about it Drury wants to win with the Rangers and will do whatever it takes to do it.

Other issues Zipay looks at are the final roster, Tortorella vs. the media, possible moves and alternate captains.

Even though I feel Drury is way over paid there is something I love about him. And that is he believes in the team. He has tremendous heart. He always has the look of determination on his face. I hope he has a little better of year. I think he is upset with his perfomance last year.
