Fleury Scores Shootout Winner Against Islanders

TSN reports that playing in his first NHL game in six years, Theo Fleury scored the shootout winner as the Calgary Flames beat the New York Islanders 5-4.

On the goal...

"I don't miss those chances ever," the five-foot-six Fleury declared. "Not in the big moments. Never have, never will."

...wonder if he did the chicken dance in front of the Islanders bench after scoring.

If that wasn't bad enough for Islanders fans Kyle Okposo had to be taken off the ice on a stretcher after being hit by Dion Phaneuf.

...ouch!!!!

Awesome Fleury comeback. That game gave me goosebumps. He's the man.

That was a crazy hit..gotta keep your head up at thi level....However, was the puck anywhere near him when he took that hit?

Looks like the puck is in Okposo's skates so he's free game.

It's great to hear J.D. in that video. Also I forgot about Sandy McCarthy. I thought he was a pretty effective player for the Rangers.
