Steve Zipay at Blue Notes spoke with a number of non-Olympian Rangers about the long break...
"Good break, but it's too long now," said Michal Rozsival. "You want to play again."
"It's a 20-game season, a fresh start," he said. "The guys who were in the Olympics probably stayed in shape. And we've been feeling better after practicing (since the 24th), but there's no substitute for playing games."
Andrew Gross at Ranger Rants adds this quote from Aaron Voros...
“The momentum we had before the break was great but now it’s one game at a time, we have to treat every game as a playoff game,” Aaron Voros said. “I think the break was obviously good but I’m sure most guys wouldn’t have wanted two weeks off, maybe four or five days.”
...should be interesting to see how the Rangers come out of the break. Do they keep the momentum of the last two games before the Olympics or go back to their inconsistent ways?

That remains to be seen. I'll be attending the Pittsburgh/Rangers game this Thursday, just coming off the most recent reason Crosby has given me to hate him... should be a fun night at the Garden. I hope Callahan plants him somewhere in the third row on the first shift.
