Coming in second was John Tortorella (21% - 115 votes) and the players (16% - 92 votes) were the least to blame.
...it's funny that the ones who actually play the games are blamed the least. How does that make sense?
With only six games remaining and the Rangers only four points out of a playoff spot, my newest poll asks the obvious question, do you think the Rangers get in? Poll to the right.

It starts from the top. It's not even the players that Sather has signed or traded for, it's the atmosphere he's created. There is no accountability and everyone is very willing to pass the buck.

I voted players... Yes, the Managment has not done the best. But, at the end of the day, its the players that are on the ice, not the coach or manager.
The sheer inconsistency shown by this team is what lead me to choose 'players'... if they can play like a top tier team,, why dont they do it all the time. Thats their own fault.
I voted players as well. Even if you "suck" at least give 110%.
I've played ice hockey for a long time...it's a very tough and frustrating sport. Even if things aren't going your way at least go balls to the wall....
theres no point in sather going if the new gm doesnt do something with redden or rosival...
which prob would mean the minors..
I’m not saying that Sather has done a great job but… The players need to play. Is Redden really this bad? Why haven’t the younger guys come up to their potential? We have seen them all play great games. A pet theory of mine has always been that all of the Rangers are stars before they do all the things everyone else has to do to become stars like win lots of playoff games. Maybe next year we can exile the team to New Jersey and take away their city privileges for awhile.
