Just a heads-up on the race for the final few playoff spots. Both 7th place Montreal (74 pts. w/69 games played) and 8th place Boston (72 pts. w/66 games played) won last night.
However, there was some good news as Boston's win was against the 6th place Flyers (74 pts. w/ 66 games played) and 10th place Atlanta (66 pts. w/ 66 games played) also lost.
The Rangers currently have 67 points with 67 games played.
...with the Flyers goaltending situation they could be the team most vulnerable right now. The Bruins likely losing Savard for the season due to a concussion doesn't help them either.
