Gaborik a Player to Watch after the Break

Brian Duff at The Hockey News lists his Top 10 to watch after the Olympic break, including Marian Gaborik...

Marian Gaborik – Rangers
He started the year with 15 goals in his first 19 games. If he ends it in the same fashion (15 in New York’s final 20), Gaborik will hit 50 for the first time in his career. If he’s healthy and accomplishes that, carrying the Rangers into the playoffs as a result, how much consideration would he get for the Hart Trophy?

...no one, including Lundqvist, will be more important to the Rangers making the playoffs than Gaborik. While the Rangers did show some offensive flash with Gaborik sidelined, their offense has been putrid since November and you can't win if you don't score.

However, Dave Lozo at NHL.com disagrees with Duff and myself saying Lundqvist (not Gaborik) is a player to watch after the break.
