Blues 4, Rangers 3

The New York Rangers (31-31-9) lost to the St. Louis Blues (33-28-9) by the score of 4-3, tonight. For a recap and box score go to Yahoo! Sports and newyorkrangers.com.

...i know Rangers fans are ready to jump off a cliff after this latest setback, but take solace in the fact that the injury ravaged Bruins lost again tonight and the Flyers are going to have to go with Brian Boucher in goal for the rest of the season after an injury to starter Michael Leighton. So it may look bleak right now but the Rangers are still far from being out of it.

...the most important shifts of the game are the ones immediately after a goal. So you have to wonder what Torts was thinking putting the fourth line out there after tying it in the third. Not sure if he was trying to sneak some rest for the top lines, but that's not the time and it blew up in his face when Shelley gets checked off the puck leading to Kariya scoring the game winner.

...speaking of the game winner what in the world was Girardi looking at? Oh yeah, it was Callahan getting dusted by Kariya.

...power play lets the Rangers down again. Got to score on the 5-on-3.

...Dubinsky-Christensen-Gaborik back together and the big guy goes 1g and 2a. Not sure why it took Torts so long to reunite this line.

...third straight solid game from Avery since the benching. Should have sat him two months ago.

...bad time for Lundqvist to have an off night.

...Redden looked like he was playing for a contract extension tonight.

...man, Prust likes to fight guys that tower over him.

...season most likely on the line Sunday afternoon in Boston.

Kariya is so much fun to watch. He's always been one of my favorite players. Damn, he's good.

Totrs is awful!!! nothing else to say.

While Lundqvist gave up some weak gooals, he also stopped 4 breakaways in the 1 st period...so the game could have been over early had he not come up big in the 1st.

Avery was clearly one on the best players again on the ice and how is he rewarded with 13:37 minutes of ice time,...

Speaking of ice time is there any reason Gilroy continues to only play 8 minutes a night, while I have to watch redden and rozival play 22 minutes...

Fire Torts and Sather!!!

Another great coaching display by Totalretard

I can accept the Rangers are not as talented as Washington, Devils, Penguins.

But, they certainly have as much talent as teams ahead of them like the Bruins, Flyers, Canadians and Thrashers.

Why are the Rangers the ONLY team under .500 at home in the ENTIRE eastern conference?

At a certain point, you have to blame coaching.

F^&^%K You Totalretard!

and of course the BIGGER F$$%K You to Glen "I have no idea where i am" Sather. And the BIGGEST F^&^K You is obviously to that spoiled rotten piece of S$%$t Dolan.

St Louis - REALLY? We can't beat St Louis at home? 5 on3 and no shots on net. WTF? Seriously, this team is done for the season. Henrik - in spite of the breakaway saves is tired and it's showing in his last 5 outings. His GGA is falling as the teams offense continues to wither and die.
