Newyorkrangers.com reports that Rangers prospects Derek Stepan, Chris Kreider and Ryan Bourque are going to Tuesday's gold medal game at the World Junior Championship tournament against the five-time defending champion Canada after Team USA upset Sweden 5-2 on Sunday night in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.Stephan recorded an assist in the game to up his tournament leading point total to 12.

I watched the game last night and I really liked the way Stepan and Bourque worked. Bourque reminds me of Callahan.. . and is a spitting image of his father.
Kreider, on the othe rhand, was fairly invisible... but I did notice that he was doing the little things, so thats a plus.
One glaring issue is size... these kids are not ready to pay against NHL sized players who will play the body. However, if they can grow a little and put on some weight they could very well be some great grinders with skill.
