Higgins Gets 2nd Star of the Night

Greg Wyshynski at Puck Daddy named Chris Higgins NHL's second star last night for scoring the game winning goal against Boston...

No. 2 Star: Christopher Higgins, New York Rangers
The Rangers were tied with the Boston Bruins, 2-2, with less than two minutes to go in regulation when Higgins ended the game on a tricky little move that fooled Tuukka Rask. Flying down the left wing, he appeared headed behind the net with the puck but instead tucked a shot past Rask for the 3-2 win. The other goal-scorers for the Rangers were Erik Christensen and Ales Kotalik.

...like I said last night we can only hope a big time goal like that can jump start Higgins for the second half of the season.

For anyone who missed the goal here it is.

My instant reaction to the goal was a simultaneous leap of joy and an Oh my God that was Higgins who scored. Incredible!
