TSN is reporting that the Rangers have waived Aaron Voros and Erik Reitz...Earlier, multiple sources stated that Darren Dreger of "Leafs Lunch" at Toronto AM640 reported the same information without a link...
...and Ranger fans can rejoyce again.
...this will obviously open up some much needed cap space for Sather to make a move tomorrow.

A truly terrible player that is more suited to the ECHL has officially been let go.
the old way of playing hockey is a dying trade. Alot of these players in the nhl are like going to the supermarket and ordering a steak and its already cut and rapped in plastic. Hollweg is an old school type player (though young) and he would rather go to the small business where the butcher cuts the steak in front of you and gets blood on his apron. He has a bad rap and took bad penalties but those days are over... He learned his lesson and can play hockey well. He has got to be utilized properly though. The kid is all heart and i have sat at many games at MSG and watched him light that place up. I even hear there are rumors of Bringing him back to NEW YORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
