Rangers Overpaid For Blueliners

In his column for The Hockey News, John Grigg says last summer can only be described as one where undeserving blueliners beefed-up their bank accounts.

Glen Sather, who Griggs says seems to relish in paying more for players than he should or, even, needs to, is taken to task for his disasterous signings of Michal Rozsival, Wade Redden and Dmitri Kalinin.

Griggs even wonders if Sather will be the GM next year.

...i said this the other day, while Sather seems to have redeemed himself at the trading deadline, Rangers fans are going to see the true incompetence of those signings when the Blueshirts are capped out for the next two or three years.
