Senators 2, Rangers 1

The New York Rangers (38-27-8) lost to the Ottawa Senators (32-30-10) by the score of 2-1, tonight. For a recap and box score go to Yahoo! Sports.

...i'm disappointed with the loss tonight, not because the Rangers looked like they did under Renney, but because I felt tonight would be a great test against arguably the hottest team in the NHL and they fell short.

...i can't believe Antropov's shot in the final minute hit Phillip's foot. If he's wearing a size 11 instead of a 12 that game goes into overtime.

...awful power play tonight, Perry Pearn must have been back in MSG picking up a few things he forgot to take home after he was fired.

...congrats to Dubinsky for scoring his first goal in 23 games. Got to give him credit for continuing to play hard every night through that goal scoring drought.

...Callahan continues to be the Rangers most consistent player as he was all over the ice. Would have liked to see him bury a few of his opportunities, but got to love his passion.

...anyone else hoping Rozsival is out 8-10 days with his knee injury.

...a day off tomorrow then the desperate for points Minnesota Wild are in town.
