Steve Zipay at Blue Notes spoke with Chris Drury about raising the level of communication with newcomer Nik Antropov...
"With Nik we try to get down low as often as we can," Drury said. "He loves to get behind the net, obviously everyone knows he's big but he's got great hands, too, so that's a pretty good combination. And we're talking more and more as we play together, so I get to know what he likes, so it's been a good transition."
Antropov has three goals in six games as a Ranger and linemate Drury has a goal and two assists since the Russian's arrival.
...obviously we're starting to see some real chemistry between the two. More than Drury's had with anyone since becoming a Ranger.
Zipay also has a quote from John Tortorella who says Drury almost cares too much and would like to see him loosen up and play.
