Andrew Gross at Ranger Rants reports that Mike Sauer, who is wearing #56, will be paired with Paul Mara tonight against the Minnesota Wild.
Sauer on his recovery from reconstructive surgery to his right knee...
"My knee has been feeling good, it hasn't been an issue," said Sauer, adding his hip, which has also been injured, also hasn't been a factor. "I feel more solid on the ice, more confident, I'm stronger turning . You almost have to retrain those muscles."
