Naslund Sits; Power Play Struggling

Katie Strang at Blue Notes reports that Markus Naslund sat out practice today, but will play tomorrow in Atlanta.

...had to figure Naslund was going to sit out today after taking a vicious hit from Gaborik last night. Got to give him credit for not missing a shift.

Stang also has John Tortorella talking power play (1 for last 16)...

"The improvement on the power play is, something I look at right from the get-go, is just movement. I think our guys, when things aren't going well, get stagnant. For our power play to work, for any power play to work well, it's not only the person with the puck, but also the people without it, and I think sometimes we get stationary. That's where we have to be more consistent, as far as moving with and without the puck, and I think that'll help our power play."

Jane McManus at the Ranger Report looks at how the last meeting with Atlanta (Adam Graves Night) was the low point of the season.

She also has audio from Lundqvist, Tortorella and Sauer.

Finally Andrew Gross at Ranger Rants looks at the Rangers final eight games.

Ya gotta capitalize on the PP in the playoffs. Simple as that.
