If the rangers are working on a deal with another team they may want to let the other team think they are working on a deal for guerin as well so they will have a little urgency
Call it more wishful thinking on the part of Zipay who appears to be trying to pass Larry Brooks for lame rumors regarding the Rangers.
I'd rather gave shanny over guerin. Choose your dinosaur wisely.
