Steve Zipay at Blue Notes says he's hearing that the Rangers could be interested in Lightning forward Mark Recchi. Carolina is also said to be in the hunt.
Other names he's heard thrown around are Chris Neil, Nik Antropov, Cam Barker and D Ken Hale.
Zipay feels the Rangers should look to claim either Miroslav Satan (17-19-36 in 64) or Brendan Morrison.
FYI all three teams in action last night that would negatively effect the Rangers playoff chances won (Florida, Pittsburgh, and Carolina)
...if Recchi would be our big move of the day, I'd be pretty pissed. Not sure how an over-the-hill player with 13 goals on the season helps us.
...maybe if the Rangers claim Morrison, they can look to trade for Bertuzzi then Naslund would have the whole gang back together.
