Yesterday Sam Weinman at The Rangers Report informed us that defenseman Brian Fahey would have to clear waivers if the Rangers wanted to recall him from the Hartford Wolfpack. However today Weinman says...
"Now I’m told that isn’t the case, and that Fahey could spend the season flowing freely between Hartford and New York without exposure.."
...this is great news for the Rangers as you would assume, with the way Fahey performed this preseason, a team would probably claim him off of waivers. Plus the Rangers now have more flexibility on defense which they didn't last year when both Pock and Hutchinson needed to clear waivers to be recalled.
