Since every sports website has a power ranking, I've picked one, Fox Sports, that I will follow all year. I decided on Fox Sports because they had the Rangers ranked #1...
1. Rangers - (1.000) The Rangers came out of the gate on fire, winning their first four games. The four-game winning streak is the longest for New York since the team opened the 1983-84 campaign with five straight victories, which just so happens to be the best start in franchise history.
...although maybe I should reconsider the legitimacy of this poll when they have the Islanders ranked #12. Didn't they see the 7-1 beating they took the other day?
