Line-up Shakeup ***UPDATED***

In an effort to shake things up a bit Tom Renney has inserted both Dan Fritsche and Nigel Dawes onto the third line and sat down Lauri Korpikoski (who has an apparent arm injury) and Petr Prucha.

Steve Zipay at Blue Notes says 'The third-line center could be Ryan Callahan, a first for him as a Ranger; Fritsche said he would be playing right wing. Nigel Dawes will likely be on their left.'

Zipay also confirms that Steve Valiquette will start in goal tonight.

...not sure why Renney is going with Callahan in the middle when Fritsche is a natural center. But happy to see Fritsche get another opportunity.

***Update***

Sam Weinman at the Rangers Report is saying 'Tom Renney also allowed that Chris Drury could be back at center tonight, so stay tuned to see what the lineup looks like.'

At Ranger Rants Andrew Gross is reporting that Patrick Rissmiller is a possible option at center tonight as well.

...I'd like to see the first line get another shot so I'm hoping not to see Drury at center tonight. My ideal situation would be Fritsche centering Dawes and Callahan on the third line.

Nice to see Dawes back in the lineup. Prucha didn't look all that bad last game.
