Steve Zipay at Blue Notes reports that Dmitri Kalinin wasn't on the ice this morning for practice. No details on whether its injury related or not. Zipay says a move could be 'coming later to bring up Corey Potter or another player as a seventh D for the weekend.'
Zipay also reports that Scott Gomez, who's been fighting the flu, also sat out today's practice. Sam Weinman at the Rangers Report says that 'Gomez’s absence does delay any possibly line reconfigurations that Tom Renney may have been contemplating.'
...with the way Kalinin has been playing Renney might have given him the day off to clear his head.

Although Mara has looked good this year last night's play was selfish and stupid. It cost his team a goal and put them down a man for a period and a half. Maybe he needs a night off.
