Shanahan's Return a Real Possibility

Andrew Gross at Ranger Rants says that Brendan Shanahan's agent Rick Curran is more optimistic than ever that Shanahan will be returning to the Rangers. Curran, who will again meet with Glen Sather later today, hopes 'by the end of the day, we'll be able to sign with the Rangers.'

Gross notes that to open up cap space 'Trading Petr Prucha or sending down Patrick Rissmiller might do the trick.'
