Rangers Could End Up With #6 Pick Tonight

Newyorkrangers.com reports that depending on the results of tonight's NHL Draft Drawing (lottery), the Blueshirts' pick could go as high as No. 6.

The Rangers currently own the No. 10 pick and are guaranteed to pick no lower than 11th overall at the 2010 NHL Entry Draft on June 25 at Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Tonight's Draft Drawing will air nationally on Versus at 8 p.m. ET. Versus will be taking its feed from Canadian broadcaster TSN's live coverage of the event. The drawing can also be viewed live online at NHL.com.

TSN has NHL Central Scouting Bureau's final prospect rankings here.

...going to be honest, I don't know much about this year's crop of prospects. What I do know is that the Rangers will get a significantly better prospect at #6 than #10. So let's hope the ping pong balls go the Rangers way tonight.
