Lundqvist Named Team MVP

Newyorkrangers.com reports that the Rangers’ MVP, voted on by the Professional Hockey Writers Association, was awarded to Henrik Lundqvist. This is the fourth consecutive year that Lundqvist has won the award, which marks the most consecutive years an individual has been named Rangers’ MVP.

...despite Gaborik's career year this was really no contest. The team isn't sniffing the playoffs without Lundqvist.

Chris Drury was given the Players' Player Award.

He stood on his head again for the last game and got no goal support. If we had to go out that was an exciting way to do it.

4th line was our best for the 4th game in a row.

I hope we don't scrap the entire team in the off season.....AGAIN.

Go Phoenix!

I absolutely hate that an elimination game is decided by a gimmick, and officiating. Lundqvist is very deserving of this award.
