"Moore Watch"

The inaugural "Moore Watch" got off to a rousing start as Dominic Moore scored the clinching goal to help the #8 Canadiens knock off the #1 Capitals 2-1 last night giving them a 4-3 upset series win in the first round of the playoffs.

Montreal will now play the defending Stanley Cup Champion Pittsburgh Penguins in the second round.

Moore was also a +1 and 6-for-13 on faceoffs.

Moore now has 2g and 0a in the playoffs.

why didn't we resign this guy 4 years ago? b/c its the rangers' M.O. to overpay veteran chumps than sign promising young gritty role players in the $1-1.5 million per year range.

thats why this team doesn't have chemistry

Does it bother anyone else to see Gomez playing like this. Is that why he isnt the subject of former ranger watch?

William, it is the exact reason why.

I never got all the Gomez hate. FWIW his two years on the Rangers produced more points than anyone other than Gaborik this year's team...

jack...the hate is more on gomezs contract..wouldnt mind having him here for 3-5 mill at the most...but the 7.5 slats gave him was retarded
