News From Yesterday

Here's a few items I missed while finding Easter Eggs yesterday...

Dale Weise up, Corey Locke down. (newyorkrangers.com)

...nice to see the Rangers are giving everyone in Hartford a chance with four games left and the playoffs on the line.

Rangers had a done deal for Steven Stamkos. (New York Post)

European prospect update. (Hockey's Future)

The 8th place Flyers beat the Red Wings 4-3 yesterday. (Yahoo! Sports)

...the Flyers (84 pts.) now have a two-point lead on the Rangers (82 pts.) for the 8th and final playoff spot. However the Rangers do a have game in hand. The Bruins (84 pts.) are in 7th and have played the same amount of games as the Blueshirts.

That Philly/Detroit game was a good one. Though Detroit looked a little tired, they still had some good plays and puck movement to the end...
