With the Olympic trade deadline today at 3 p.m. two ex-Rangers have been traded.
TSN reports that the Florida Panthers have traded Dominic Moore to the Montreal Canadiens for a second round pick in the 2011 draft.
Moore, mostly playing on the fourth line with Jed Ortmeyer and Ryan Hollweg, had 9g and 12a in 87 games with Rangers.
...man I miss that line.
TSN also reports that Carolina has sent Matt Cullen to Ottawa for Alexandre Picard and a second round pick.
Cullen had 16g and 25a in one season with the Rangers.
...while Cullen had some nice moments with the Rangers he was never comfortable with the team. Probably because Renney never used him on the point on the power play.

Cullen was a lot of fun to watch. You definitely knew when he was on the ice...not that he was an "impact" player but he had a playing style that stood out.
do you hear yourself? "I miss that line"?!
That's how bad/shallow the Rangers have been the past few years.
When your 4th line is this

you can miss it.
I don't get it. When who's fourth line is what...? Comparing an NHL team to Team Canada 2010?
Actually a 3rd ex-Ranger has been traded - draftee Nate Guenin.
